We started with a brain of our own.

Long before this app, Soon kept its whole company memory in one central place: our product, strategy, customers, competitive research, positioning, and the decisions behind them. All four founders fed it, and it became the single source of truth we and our AI assistants worked from. You never edited it by hand. You told an AI assistant what happened, and it organized everything into the brain for you and kept it tidy.

The idea was right, but it lived inside developer tools. You had to be technical just to set it up and use it, so a genuinely powerful shared brain was only really open to the technical people, not to everyone who had knowledge worth keeping.

And a pile of files, however smart, only takes you so far. We wanted a real tool around the brain. One where every change is easy to trace and every version is clear, so you can see how the thinking evolved and trust what you are reading. One the whole team can collaborate on, not just the technical few. And above all, a brain that works to stay current: it asks you questions, points out what is missing, stale, or contradictory, and in doing that, it pushes you to think clearly about your direction and your details. A brain that questions you is a brain that stays true.

It should also meet you where knowledge actually shows up - a Slack message, a forwarded email, a customer call - and any teammate or AI assistant should be able to draw from the same central brain instantly, with no setup.
